Pistons for petrol engines belong to the class of light thin-walled pistons which are able to retain functionality at high rotational velocities of engine arbor and under moderate pressures in a cylinder. The peculiarities of the construction of these pistons include the offset of pin hole relative to the piston axis against the direction of rotation for noise reduction, relatively big elliptidities of the skirt, low height. Piston skirts can be covered with running-in coating and (or) microprofile. The enterprise produces pistons for petrol engines from Ø72 mm (245-1004015Н) to Ø100 mm (421.1004015М). Light pistons for sport use do not have pin hole offset relative to the cylinder axis.
