
The introduction of end-to-end designing system enabled the enterprise to produce new constructions of pistons that are characterized by less weight and altered geometry of friction surface. The implementation of designed technologies patented by AVTRAMAT gave possibility to increase engine torque from 1,1% to 3,8% and power from 0,6% to 4,5% for different types of engines. The comparative parameters of some new developments are given in the table below.
There is begun production of the piston for engine ZMZ-405, on a design similar to the piston 421-1004015М.
